There have been a bunch of changes in this one. Most notably, there is now a game menu screen with things ranging from inventory to game options. To access inventory directly, press tab. Game options is esc, and help is F1. You can also use the tabs at the top of any of these to get to any of the others. The controls are now listed in the help page and reset level is now in the options page. The inventory page show you all of the particles you've absorbed as well as your available beams and abilities. You can rearrange or uneqip beams and abilities by clicking on one and then click where you want to move it. There always have to be three beams equipped, but you can rearrange them or swap in different beams. You don't have to have any abilities equipped. For beams, during the game you can hold right click to get a quick selection menu to quickly switch between the active beam that will fire with left click. There are currently four types of beams. Flux is the standard one that's been in the game already. It allows you to destroy some blocks and turn others into flux particles. Stasis currently only allows you to seal flux fissures, which then eventually grow back into full flux blocks. Scan allows you to get more information about certain objects in the world. Infuse currently doesn't do anything, but will eventually allow you to directly use specific flux particles that you have absorbed. For abilities, dash is the same as it ever was and dash jump is a new vertical dash variety. Both take flux. The top equipped slot is used with the shift key and the second slot with ctrl. I'm using the key locations on the keyboard rather than the specific keys for this, so you may have to experiment a bit on a Mac, but they should be the left-most keys. Let me know if this works well on a Mac. You can right click in the inventory on a particle or a beam to make it the currently selected one. As for the rest of the additions with this version. I've added teleporters and a hub level that lets you access all the other demo levels that I've made so far. You have to complete the Flux Lab level first to learn the passcode, at least if you aren't cheating :) I've also tweaked all the levels to account for the new stuff. Every level now has a return teleporter. Some are easier to access/find than others. I've also removed the popup level select dialog since it has been replaced by the hub level. My next steps are to develop the necessary mechanisms for the various zones I have planned. The biggest feedback I'm interested in is whether everything seems fun, intuitive, and whether or not the player plays well. As always, if something seems to break or doesn't work how you expect, please let me know! Thanks for all the feedback!
